Tanya Scott
Chief Executive Officer
Tanya has worked in senior management and governance roles within the public broadcasting, education, and international development sectors across Australia and Europe for more than 20 years. A graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), Tanya is dedicated to innovation, continuous improvement, and community values. Prior to working for Alpine Children’s Services, Tanya spent 16 years working for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, managing capacity building projects, primarily in Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific. Tanya holds tertiary qualifications in Education and Business Management, postgraduate qualifications in Indonesian, and a Masters degree in Education. Tanya is passionate about offering services that are responsive, relevant, and accountable to their communities. In her spare time, she is an international award-winning author and loves to ski, travel, and live as sustainably as possible.
Anne-Isabelle Jahan
Director of People and Operations
An experienced leader possessing significant ER/IR, OH&S, and generalist HR experience across diverse industries, Isabelle has worked in Europe and Australia and has been calling Victoria home for over ten years. Isabelle is an AICD graduate, holds qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Labour Law, and a Masters in Business. She ensures the development, implementation and follow up of people management follows a best practice approach, and proudly applies a structured and fair methodology. Isabelle promotes the importance of continually improving business practices and ensures that each staff member understands the impact they have on overall service quality. She enjoys identifying trends to proactively implement solutions to improve operations and actively contributes to performance improvement, staff experience and retention of talented people. In her spare time, you will find Isabelle laughing with her family or practicing Pilates.
Leah Williams
Centre Manager- Alpine View
Leah holds a Diploma of Children Services and considers living and working in our community a privilege. She has worked for ACS for 23 years, with 21 of them at the core of the business, providing education and care to the children of Alpine View.
Leah is a mother of 3 and has lived in Harrietville since she was 7. Leah believes that strong community connectedness in both work and personal life is important. Her involvement within the community was rewarded in 2017 with an Alpine Shire Community achievement award for her role in organising the Harrietville Primary School 150 year’s celebration (1866-2016), which brought together students and community members from far and wide. Outside of work Leah is happy at home with her family sitting around the campfire or crocheting on the couch. You might also see her grabbing a few turns on the ski slopes of Mt Hotham.
Isabelle Raw
Centre Manager- Mountain View
Izzy has worked for Alpine Children’s Services as the Centre Manager in Mount Beauty and now Myrtleford for nearly 15 years and has worked in Early Childhood Education for 30 years. Isabelle holds her Bachelor of Education and particularly enjoys the opportunities to teach in our Kindergarten program. Isabelle thrives on the relationships that she is able to form with the families, children and staff , considering them her extended family. She is pleased to now support the Myrtleford community in her manager role. In her spare time, Izzy loves to explore new places in her caravan with her husband and dogs, walk, cross stitch and dance!
steph wilson
Centre Manager- Lake View
Steph has been an early childhood educator since 2002 and holds her Diploma in Children’s Services. Steph started working for ACS at Lake View in 2017 after moving to Mt Beauty with her husband and four children. Steph loves working with children of all ages and seeing them grow through their learning. Steph feels privileged to be a part of the team at Lakeview and the Mt Beauty community.
Outside of work, Steph likes to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys reading, camping, shopping, and Christmas.
SUE DE ZILVA
Finance Manager
Sue has more than 12 years’ experience working in finance in the early childhood education sector and has extensive knowledge in government grants, reporting requirements, and the accounting processes associated with the early childhood sector.
She holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting, Diploma of Banking Services Management and is currently working towards her Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Prior to working in the early childhood sector, Sue worked in banking for many years in executive positions and has a proven record of outstanding financial management and administration skills. She loves roles that combine her two passions, finance and educating children. In her spare time, Sue enjoys singing in her church choir, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
